Description
Late February and Mr. Winter decided to speak one more time. The birds gathered in my yard knowing that friendly family would throw out some seed. This little black capped chickadee came a little closer as if to say thank you for the nice meal. That would help them stay warm. He then flew off back to the bird cake to get another helping. Chickadees are small and they are bold so they will often come closer to humans.
I enjoy feeding birds all year around but it is the best when the snow is on the ground.
I hope you enjoy this little fellow.
