Glimpses of Autumn 2014
Description:
The Eno River is shown here in all its glory. The trees have lost a few leaves but the color is still prominent and the yellow, orange and even some greens are painted on the water reflected surface.
Eno River State Park is in both Durham and Orange counties in North Carolina and has 4,200 acres. The Eno River flows east about 33 miles starting in Orange County. Then it combines with the Little River and the Flat River and becomes the Neuse River and that river flows into Falls Lake. I walked with Chester along a potion of it on Veterans Day. There were still some color but quite a bit had gone. The leaves were dropping for the trees as we walked. The trail was quiiet except for a couple of families enjoying the holiday. The Day was so gorgeous and the 4 mile walk was wonderful.
