Ocean Isle is a small town in North Carolina with less then 600 residents located between Myrtle Beach SC and Wilmington NC. The city is the entire small barrier island. The town has 3.4 square miles of land and 1.2 square miles of water. Ii have never been to this beach in the summer but my family and I go every year sometime between Christmas and New years. When my kids were young and still lived at home we would always go for New Years. The beach run east and west so you can witness both the sunset and the sun rise on this beach and so I enjoy going out both times of day.
