A Fall Canopy in Eno State Park. By Sandra Clark
Description:
This is a trail covered with the rich colored leaves of the fall. The oranges and golden yellows and reds see outstanding.
In Durham and Orange counties of North Carolina there is a river that combines with a couple other rivers and ends up in Falls Lake. The state of North Carolina has over 4,000 acres surrounding this river and it is called the Eno River State park and is divided in to small sections. There are many things to do in these parks. Many people hike their trails from the small one to longer ones. There are camping sites to hike in and camp at, caamping sites for those with campers and along the river you can fish.
What a wonderful source of enjoyment for the North Carolinians in the area.
In the fall of the year you can walk on a carpet of bright colored leaves and walk under a canopy of yellows, orange and reds. What a wonderful afternoon for a young family who picnics for the afternoon. What a wonderful day for a day hike for the young and young at heart to enjoy a pretty fall day.
