Description
As I was walking my dog, Chester I stopped and took a picture of this lovely wild flower, Queen Anne's Lace. It is simple and yet full of sophistication
Now for what you may not have know about this weed we call a flower. The roots are edible and resembles carrots in flavor and smell.
It blooms from mid may to mid fall.
It is high in sugar and some folks years ago used it to sweeten things.
the distinguishing feature is the single purple dot in the center.
