Girl with Grandma’s Pearls by Sandra Clark

Girl with a Pearl Earring is an oil painting by Dutch Golden Age painter Johannes Vermeer, dated c. 1665. This is my reproduction of this famous piece of art. I first saw this in my Art Appreciation course more years ago then I would like to admit and have always liked it.

So my reproduction is of a young girl wearing Grandma's pearls. Did she get caught playing in Grandma's jewelry box, or did she lose her loving Grandma, and all she has left is her pearls?
