Description:
A garden of flowers and a small white bridge, with a flowers all around.
Monet was an Impressionist painter from France that painted in the 19th century. He is known for his art of thin paint strokes and the movement he characterized in his art. He was a radical in his day because he used color more than lines to depict his pictures. His artwork also showed motion.
I have used his portrait of his wife in both the "Woman with a Parasol" and "Suzanne., as inspiration. In my piece I placed a young woman in a flower garden. Here she is enjoying the spring day. She is walking and admiring the flowers in the garden as she walks.
