Artist's Description
They say I'm old fashioned and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast (Dr. Seuss). Do you ever find your self wishing for the old days. When kids rode their bikes for miles without parents worrying. When things went at a little slower pace. Me too and we can grab a little bit of that back by watching the birds enjoy their life.
Red Bellied Woodpecker are are pale, medium-sized woodpeckers common in forests of the East. Their strikingly barred backs and gleaming red caps make them an unforgettable sight – just resist the temptation to call them Red-headed Woodpeckers, a somewhat rarer species that's mostly black on the back with big white wing patches. Learn the Red-bellied's rolling call and you’ll notice these birds everywhere.
About Sandra Clark
Sandra Clark always enjoyed taking pictures. She thoroughly enjoys capturing the beauty of God's creation and sharing that with others. From the abundant colors of a beetle's shell to the majestic autumn colors of the Blue Ridge Parkway and lots of things in between, it always amazes her when she sees the beauty that God has created. This is what she tries to share with those who view her art. She also enjoys dabbling in all kinds of art. Here on this website, you will see photography, photography enhanced by dodging and burning and digital art that combines more than one photograph as well as dodging and burning. You will also find digital sketches. Sandra Clark has a passion for art and takes courses in photography and photoshop...
