Description
Phildelphus which is often called English Dogwood has white petals and yellow stamens.
A multi-stemmed, upright shrub with stiff arching branches that are covered with dogwood-like, fragrant, white flowers in spring. Used as specimen, in shrub border, and in screens. In time, plants become leggy and should be pruned by removing about 1/3 of the stems just above ground level after flowering is complete in spring
